Sweets are bitter

I have a friend. Though I have many friends, but this guy is a bit different. Everything in this world for him is screwed up and every one else is a moron. I have known him for a couple of years now, but things haven’t changed much in all these years.
Everything that any one else is doing is either of no use, or if it is, my friend has already done it, so others are just following him. It has come to point where people are scared to even exchange some information with him because they know the response is any ways going to be negative and sarcastic. I am sure he's not one of the kinds in this world but surely only one that I know.

This incident happened a few days back.
One of our friend had been to his home and when he returned he bought some home made sweets. As being in the same team, we all gathered around to have the taste of it. Now the friend of me came and had a look at the sweets. "It does not look good, I won’t have it" saying so he went back to his cubical.
I thought it was the worst reaction that I had ever heard. Probably his mom would have stayed whole day in kitchen to make sure it is perfect and in enough quantity to be shared among all. More than anything else it was shock that he opened his mouth in public that too for a thing which he would probably not make in his whole life time, and surely would never be able to also.
The sweets in real were truly out of the world and the best I had tasted in recent time.
The whole incident left me thinking about my friend and what lead to his reactions like that.

Sometimes we build up so much negativity around us that we stop to enjoy small things in life and keep cribbing about every thing possible. The reason could be anything, but it does not give any right to criticize someone else's hard work and sincerity. A person does not posses right to criticize something unless he knows how to appreciate. If everything around in world starts to look negative, the problem is not in the things around, but in the way we have started looking at them. These negative actions build up to become our habit and then grow on to become our attitude. It grows to an extent where they become a part of us. This negativity changes our taste to an extent that even when sweets come in our way we find them bitter.
